The muscular power implied in the lines of the 125ft Benetti is very real, for despite her superyacht size and elegance she can reach 24 knots on the open sea, and will cruise at a stately 18 knots, meaning that a day’s sailing with a full 25,000-litre fuel tank opens up destinations well out of port.
Driving this performance is two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, working when full out at 2,600hp. The Azipull Carbon 65 propulsion system was designed by Rolls-Royce specifically for the Fast 125 family and is a high performance, lightweight, steerable thruster that gives the kind of nimble manoeuvrability in navigation and docking that are found in far smaller craft.
Redman Whiteley Dixon in collaboration with Benetti’s in-house team have designed the interiors to be simple, contemporary and clean to leave the elegance of the natural materials used in the décor intact. Glossy ebony, Thai wood and Tanganyika frisé wood are all used, warm to the eye and sensuously tactile.

On the main deck, the saloon is especially bright and luminous thanks to a generous use of glass that lets natural light flood into the light-toned space. There is a liberating sense of space in the saloon, and a real continuity between inside and outside, due in part to the huge floor-to-ceiling picture windows.
