Boat Lagoon Yachting: Leading the Way in Marine Conservation Across Southeast Asia

As Southeast Asia’s foremost yachting company, with over 30 years of expertise in yacht sales, aftersales, and yacht charters, Boat Lagoon Yachting is devoted to more than just luxury and leisure. Our commitment to marine conservation is an integral part of our mission, actively supporting CSR projects to protect and preserve the marine ecosystems we deeply value.

Advocating for Sustainable Yachting with Princess Yachts

In our role as the official distributor of Princess Yachts in Southeast Asia, we champion sustainable yachting, advancing initiatives that protect our oceans for future generations. With innovative eco-friendly practices—from using biomass heating and solar power to employing advanced hull designs that reduce waste—Princess Yachts leads the industry in sustainable yachting. Partnering with the Marine Conservation Society, we support global efforts like the Eddystone Reef and PLYMFISH projects to protect critical marine ecosystems. This commitment extends regionally through partnerships that promote eco-conscious yachting practices and marine preservation in Southeast Asia.

Marine conservational activities:

Phuket Rendezvous, an annual event hosted by Boat Lagoon Yachting, brings together our yacht owners from Southeast Asia for an unforgettable cruise to stunning destinations like Phuket, Krabi, and beyond. For 2024, the Phuket Rendezvous will shine a spotlight on marine conservation, creating meaningful activities aimed at preserving marine life. At Boat Lagoon Yachting, we are proud to support marine conservation and sustainability. Princess Yachts promotes eco-friendly practices and responsible boating, and together with our passionate yacht owners, we are committed to protecting the seas we all love. Phuket’s marine conservation efforts, particularly for endangered species like the Bamboo shark, are crucial as they face increasing threats. The Marine Conservation Department in Phuket is working tirelessly to protect these species through research, education, and active conservation efforts. We invite all yacht owners to join us in supporting this vital cause and preserving our oceans for future generations.”

The Phuket Rendezvous is not just about yachting; it’s a gathering of passionate yacht owners who share a deep love for the sea and a commitment to giving back to nature. While we provide a luxurious experience with tailored itineraries, water toys, and a beach BBQ, our true focus is on preserving the marine environment. At Boat Lagoon Yachting, we are deeply committed to marine conservation. In 2023, partnership with the Phuket Marine Biological Centre, we released baby turtles at Nok Island, demonstrating our dedication to protecting marine life. This effort reflects our pledge to support Thai organizations working tirelessly to preserve the oceans across Ranong, Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, and Trang. Our goal is to ensure that owning a yacht isn’t just about luxury, but also about making a meaningful impact on the environment we all cherish.

Partnerships in Action: Protecting Endangered Species

Boat Lagoon Yachting has partnered with the Phuket Marine Biological Centre and the Phuket Marine Conservation Department to protect endangered marine species, including the Bamboo shark. These partnerships drive impactful efforts such as turtle releases and conservation research, underscoring our dedication to the sustainable future of Southeast Asia’s marine life. Last year, in collaboration with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, we released leatherback turtles at Racha Noi, reinforcing our pledge to preserve marine life for generations to come.

A Sustainable Future for Southeast Asia’s Seas

As we expand our conservation efforts, we invite yacht owners and partners to join us on this journey. Together, we can ensure that the yachting lifestyle contributes to the beauty and health of our oceans, creating a legacy of environmental stewardship.
