We are off to a great start in 2023!
The beginning of the year has seen us off to a great start, with many activities, plenty of news, and the welcoming of more yachts into our Southeast Asia region. We can also say there is a lot more lined up for this year, and that we shall keep you well updated as we journey through 2023.
Recent yacht deliveries in Southeast Asia!
We enjoyed great success towards the end of last year with the new flagship for the Princess Yachts X Class, the Princess X95 Superfly, and the second of the four 95ft craft, the two of X95 and another two of Y95, we have sold to a Southeast Asian customer was to be seen last week showing her impeccable beauty cruising along the Singapore coast, visiting Lazarus island and Marina Baysands, the top popular yachting area in Singapore. First time for the X95 in these waters!
Pictured in Singapore, and characterised by beautifully sculpted surfaces and long flowing lines, the X95 defines a striking design language for the X Class. Both her flybridge and main deck cover almost the full length of the yacht, making her a very distinctive presence out at sea.
We are also proud to say we have just handed over our fifth Princess Y85 in Southeast Asia, and the new owner is eagerly exploring the potential of his beautiful new yacht.
This is the most popular Y Class model in this region, and is perfect for the sailing conditions here. The Y85 is a triumph of contemporary design. Her flybridge is an irresistible invitation to al fresco entertainment with a large dining area opposite a well-equipped wet bar further complemented by a large aft sun pad. These beautiful craft are of course built to order, but the Plymouth boatyard is able to deal with orders quickly and get the yacht loaded onboard ship and on its way to her new owner in a remarkably brief time. We work very closely with the Princess team in the boatyard and the sales office, and between us we ensure that the order goes through entirely to specification. We also of course keep in close contact with our customers at all times, and are very proud when the day comes for the handover.

January saw us in Germany, where our group managing director Vrit Yongsakul together with the regional broker team were attending Boot Düsseldorf.

As the sole authorised dealer for Princess Yachts in our region, we were busy on the Princess stand greeting visitors and providing information, and also growing relations with the Princess Yachts international network. We were present on the stand for the global debut of the all-new Princess S72 sportbridge yacht, the quintessential flagship of the renowned S Class family, and can confidently predict this lovely and powerful craft has a great future in our part of the world. Moreover, Princess Yachts also displayed the Show Debut of the Princess X80, F65 plus the European Premiere of the Princess Y85 on display, accompanied by the S62, F45 and the V40.

New Jeanneau DB37 to be the world premiered at Dusseldorf
Jeanneau also had an enormous presence at Düsseldorf, and amongst the many other activities used the show for the global launch of the DB/37 dayboat, which was unveiled by Jeanneau director Paul Blac.This brand-new 37-foot model comes around nine months after the launch of the extraordinary DB/43, and like its predecessor is the result of a collaboration between famed Italian designer Camillo Garroni and Michael Peters Yacht Design. Both of these craft have established a firm identity for the DB line.We believe that DB dayboats have great potential in Southeast Asia, where we are Jeanneau’s sole dealer, and we found a great deal of interest from visitors to the stand.
Our sales team had the opportunity and the pleasure of joining the Jeanneau product training with international dealers, which was led by Vincent Piel, powerboat product manager for Jeanneau Motors.

Pirelli 30’s the global launch at Sacs Tecnorib stand
Sacs Tecnorib, who we also represent in Southeast Asia, had decided to go all-out with a massive display at the event to publicise the merger of Sacs srl and Tecnorib srl (the official licensee of the Pirelli and Pzero brands for inflatable boats), both leaders in the Italian and European boat production industry.The Sacs Tecnorib stand covered a huge space of more than 1000 sqm, and one of the big announcements was the world premier of the Pirelli 30, a day cruiser that is a new entry in the Pirelli Speedboats walkaround line.
Created by the Swedish Mannerfelt design team, the Pirelli 30 is available in two different bow configurations: one offers a complete walkaround for enjoying the social activities on board, and the other takes up the Mediterranean tradition of using the bow as a sundeck.
