A Successful 2021 For Boat Lagoon Yachting and Princess Yachts
We are delighted to share that 2021 was a great year for yacht sales at Boat Lagoon Yachting. As we review the past year, we can note many exciting developments in the yachting environment for Southeast Asia. Princess Yachts
Boat Lagoon Yachting is proud to partner withPrincess yachts, who experienced their most successful year globally in 2021. There have been sales of 20 of the new ‘superfly’ Princess X95 yachts over the past 18 months. Last year, Princess also announced the launch of the Y72 yacht, the all-new addition to their award-winning Y class range. This impressive and sophisticated vessel made its Southeast Asia debut in 2021.
Successful Sales
We are excited to have sold five new Y-classPrincess yachtslast year. We sold two Y85Princess yachtsin Thailand, another two Y85 Princess yachts in Singapore, and a Y72 Princess yacht in Malaysia.
We also sold threePrincess yachtsfrom the popular F class in Singapore, including the F55, F45, and F62 models.
In The Market
We have many exciting newPrincess yachtsavailable, including the all-new Princess X95 yacht, which is ready for its debut in Southeast Asia in 2022. Boat Lagoon Yachting finalised many successful sales of Jeanneau yachts in 2021. Throughout the year, the most popular Jeanneau yachts in Southeast Asia were the new Cap Camarat 9.0 CC, new Cap Camarat 5.5, and the newMerry Fisher1095. As well as the Jeanneau NC 33, The 9-metre vessel is designed for an easy, enjoyable time at sea. It features two large double berths and wide recessed side decks that contribute to a well-balanced space.

This past year, Boat Lagoon Yachting,as a part of Burgess Asia,was pleased to facilitate thesale of a superyacht in Thailand, by introducing the buyer of the 42-metre Moon Sand.The next yacht in this series, the Moon Sand Too,is also currently available to yacht enthusiasts in Southeast Asia through Boat Lagoon Yachting.
Celebrating a Successful Year
We are proud to reflect on the past year of successful yacht sales. The continued Covid-19 pandemic made 2021 a difficult time for many businesses. For yacht sales, this meant fewer interactions with customers. Since international and national yacht shows were not able to be held this past year, fewer customers could have touchpoint experiences with our products and our team. However, despite the complications of the pandemic and fewer in-person interactions with clients, Boat Lagoon Yachting experienced a 10% sales growth throughout 2021. We’re proud to have continued to deliver superior products and services to all our customers.
Looking to 2022
With another successful year behind us, Boat Lagoon Yachting is looking forward to continuing our positive sales trends and building further on our achievements in 2022.
Upcoming Product Launches
This year, several luxury yacht brands will see some exciting new product developments, including Princess, Jeanneau, and Sacs. As mentioned,Princess yachtswill debuttheX95 flagship vessel and her sister rangePrincess X80this year. The new Y95 will also arrive in Southeast Asia for the first time in November 2022. We are especially looking forward tothe arrival of the V50 and Y72 yachtsin the marketlater this year.
Jeanneau also has some exciting new products available on the market this year, including several new sailing yachts like the Jeanneau 60, Jeanneau 65, and Sun Odyssey 380yachts, which recently won the Best Boat Award.There is alsoa newJeanneaumotorboat available, the Merry Fisher 795 Sport.
Jeanneau alsoreleaseda new series ofpremiumdayboatscalled ‘Jeanneau DB’.The DB line sets a new milestoneforday boats.This boat benefits from a spacious, openplandeck,offering a new and unique experience in day boating.The aft swim platform and two opening side terraces enable you to create a truebeachclub atmosphere.
Finally, Sacs’ newest model for 2022 is the Rebel 55, which is still awaiting a Southeast Asia release date.
